Welcome to Color Jump (the "App"), a mobile game developed and provided by Haiku ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices you have about your information. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Username / display name — If you choose a display name (even with anonymous sign-in), we store it to identify your score and profile.
• Account information — If you convert an anonymous account to a full account (email, Google/Apple sign-in), we may store the associated email or account identifier to allow cross-device sign-in and account recovery.
• User content — Optional content such as uploaded avatars or profile images if you provide them.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Game play data — Scores, levels (if enabled later), high-score timestamps, in-game events, and achievements.
• Device and usage data — Device model, OS version, unique device identifiers (advertising identifier where applicable), language, locale, app version, and crash logs.
• Analytics — Aggregated usage metrics and behavior data (session length, retention, feature usage) to improve the app.
• Advertising identifiers — When you view or interact with ads, ad networks may collect identifiers for ad personalization and measurement (see section on Advertising).

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive data from third-party services you use to sign-in (Google, Apple) or from service providers that help operate the App (analytics, crash reporting, ads, payment processors). We only request the minimum scope needed for functionality (for example, basic profile info from OAuth providers).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the App features (saving scores, leaderboards, cosmetic purchases).
• To enable account creation and cross-device sync if you convert an anonymous user to an authenticated account.
• To send push notifications and messages (if you opt in) such as special offers, friend challenges, or daily rewards.
• To analyze and improve the App, including A/B testing and feature optimization.
• To provide customer support and respond to requests.
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and fraud.
• Where required by law or to protect our rights and property.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA / GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA, our lawful bases for processing personal data include:

• Performance of a contract: to provide the App and its features.
• Consent: for optional features such as personalized ads, push notifications (where applicable), or where we request explicit consent.
• Legitimate interests: improving the App, preventing fraud, and analyzing usage (balanced against your rights and interests).

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our partners may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to collect and store information about your activity. In mobile apps this includes persistent identifiers and local app storage. These technologies are used for analytics, personalization, and advertising (where enabled).

5. Third-Party Services & Sharing

We use reputable third-party service providers to help operate the App. When we share data with them, we limit the data to what is necessary:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, Firestore/Realtime Database, Storage, Cloud Functions, Crashlytics, Analytics, Cloud Messaging. Firebase helps with sign-in (including anonymous auth), storing scores, leaderboards, and push notifications.
• Ad networks (e.g., AdMob) — To display ads and manage rewarded ads. Ad networks may collect device identifiers and advertising IDs.
• Payment processors (e.g., Google Play / App Store billing, Stripe) — To process in-app purchases. We do not store full payment card data.
• Analytics providers — For aggregated usage and performance metrics.

We may also share data if required by law, or to protect legal rights.

6. Advertising & Personalization

The App may display ads. Ads are provided by third-party ad networks. These networks may collect or receive information about your device and usage to serve and measure advertising effectiveness. If you prefer not to have ads personalized, follow your device settings for limiting ad tracking (e.g., Android's "Opt out of Ads Personalization" and iOS's "Limit Ad Tracking").

7. Anonymous Authentication & Account Linking

The App supports Firebase anonymous authentication so users can play immediately without registering. Anonymous users are assigned a unique, temporary identifier (UID) that allows us to save scores locally and in the cloud. If you later choose to register (e.g., via email, Google, or Apple), we can link your anonymous account to that formal account so your saved progress, scores, and display name are preserved.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the App, fulfill legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Usage and analytics data are retained in aggregated or anonymized form for product improvement. You may request deletion of your account and personal data (see "Your Rights" below).

9. Your Rights (Access, Correction, Deletion & Portability)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data. Deletion may be subject to legal or contractual retention obligations.
• Portability: Request a machine-readable copy of the data you provided.
• Opt-out: Opt out of targeted advertising where applicable.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 (or under the age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it as required by law.

11. Security

We employ reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information (encryption in transit, secure storage, access controls). However, no security system is impenetrable — we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security breach affecting personal data is discovered, we will follow applicable laws regarding notice and remediation.

12. International Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored in servers located in multiple countries (for example, Google/Firebase data centers). By using the App you consent to transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your country.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users via the App or other reasonable means. The "Effective date" at the top of this policy will be updated accordingly.
